    置之死地而后生

    来法兰以后,什么都没有,有的最多的就是时间了吧。

    同时追五部日剧也是前所未有的了,顺便还看看电影这样子。

    因为实习的关系会接触不少日本经营学的理论,觉得也挺有意思的。

    每礼拜二都跟另外一个实习生去吃拉面,面馆在楼下,是德国人开的,名字叫OKINAWA(!)。汤头是对的,往里放生柿子椒是不可饶恕的。

    来法兰以后认识的人都很厉害,是各个行业中的精英……所以自己也有压力得不行。

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    综上所述就是我又开始学日语了……以后实在不行的话,就还是靠语言混饭吧。

    潮的语言。

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    昨天跟GAOYAN交流了一下儿4AD,发现我对CT的成见是不对的,CT其实是很好听的。

    THIS MORTAL COIL的这首《SONG TO THE SIREN》可能是当时觉得最有神秘感的一支吧,收在人见人爱的《THE SOUND OF 4AD》合辑里(两张盘的封面印刷还是完全不一样的)。TMC是4AD当时的混装PROJECT,这首歌的主唱是CT的ELISABETH FRASER,原作是TIM BUCKLEY。彻头彻尾的ETHEREALIZATION……

    今天被人問起來BLOG怎么弄的事,突然就想起來SODACHI要續費了,就又續了340,一年的域名和空間錢。

    這么多年都沒有漲過價,是不是應該更便宜了才對。

    LBS還是無數年前的版本,一直沒有升級,因為不太會弄……曾經一度被垃圾留言攻擊過,改了認證碼的文件以后就沒有這個問題了。至今都沒有再出過事故。

    新的一集《LAST FRIENDS》看得讓人不舒服,太禁斷了吧這個。等《ROOKIES》。要是再不好看我就看美劇去了。

    我特別想回波鴻,GC MANIA、ECUE PARTY……可是我每天中午要吃那么貴的食堂還要供兩個房子我實在是沒有錢買票回去了。

    AA IN CHINA

    @1969-12-31 16:00 -08:00
    American Apparel is annoucing store openings in Beijing and Shanghai.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    http://www.americanapparel.net/presscenter/articles//images/20080403latimes1.jpg

    We're coming to China!

    In the next few months American Apparel will be opening its first stores in China with locations already slated in Beijing and in Shanghai.

    In a rare industry occurrence, we will be bringing Made in the USA clothing to China and we intend to pay employees there gross wages that exceed the US minimum.

    http://www.americanapparel.net/intl/china.html

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Long have I been expecting the AA launching in China, namely how it's going to stick to its non-sweat-shop strategy. The minimum wage level in California is $8.00 per hour, which makes about ¥55 under the current exchange rate.

    And if an AA employ works 8 hours per day and 22 days per month, his monthly salary might be set on a ¥9660 base.This is very attractive.

    Regarding the fact that these store employees are supposed to sell those "made in Downtown LA" labelling T-shirts, let us wait and see....

    A HAIR-CUT WITH ANTHONY WONG

    @1969-12-31 16:00 -08:00
    As my life in reality starts to be boring down, I've got the idea to write about my dreams and illusions.

    So this is about my last dream this morning before I woke up.

    I was left alone somewhere near the southwest gate of Tsinghua by my parents. It was short after the sunset on an summer evening.

    I spotted a banner stating GATSBY the men's cosmetic brand. I went into the room. It was a hair salon where cheap prices were offered.

    I asked the boy if I can have a Japanese hairstyle like I did in Dusseldorf. He told me he didn't know and had to ask. "My boss knows everything. I've got to call him", he said, pointing at a portrait on the shelf nearby.

    I starred at the portrait and it was a shock to me recognizing the man in the photo. (Usually you don't see things that clearly in your dreams)

    Then there came the feeling that I was caught somewhere in a film about time machine.

    All my life I've got nothing to do with Anthony Wong. I just can't figure out why him!

    THE INTERNSHIP

    @1969-12-31 16:00 -08:00
    I've been in Frankfurt for four days. I miss my sweet home Bochum.

    Actually I'm not living in Frankfurt but in a remote town called Raunheim, where angels fear to tread....For there are no doener or pizza available in my hood, I can save a lot of money from not eating doener teller.

    There's still one thing unchanged: I'm still watching 4400 and about to meet the end.

    The company's great. Colleagues are very nice and considerate, as everything's well arranged.

    The company is in the Frankfurt CBD. SINOPEC and Cathay Pacific are in the same building. The food in the canteen hits the restaurant standard, ist aber sau teuer.

    The smoking area for a bit fresh air.

    At present I'm residing in this room. It's actually the biggest room I've ever lived in.

    I took a walk from the central station to Hauptwache today. I stopped by this building because the ECB is symbolic for my glorious study programme ECUE.

    I AM AN AMERICAN

    @1969-12-31 16:00 -08:00
    Ever since the very beginning I've been hearing about stories how friends get addicted to American TV series and can get themselves out of it.

    I used to hear about it. Now I'm a victim too. It all started with a trailer of The 4400 on YouTube, which I just happened to click on.

    No I just realized how destroyous it could be after I saw about 30 episodes in a couple of days. I even dream about it.

    The worst thing is: I feel like I'm an American now.

    In my old point of view I am now one who's got no taste on anything and living in an absolute vacancy of heart.

    WHICH NATIONAL FLAG DO YOU LIKE DA MOST?

    @1969-12-31 16:00 -08:00
    http://www.sodachi.com/blog/uploads/200803/25_062524_china1.jpg
    This was the national flag of China under the Qing Dynasty. Yellow is actually the national colour of China. And dragon the national animal? This is actually a one-size-fits-all solution for every possible regime. However, yellow is the colour of the Chinese emperor, which is disliked by the republic regimes. This is one from the tradition.

    http://www.sodachi.com/blog/uploads/200803/25_062900_china2.jpg
    The orginal flag of Republic of China until 1928 tells the story of an harmonious society built up with the five major ethnics, namely the Han, Manchu, Tibetan, Hui and Mongol. This is one for the people.

    http://www.sodachi.com/blog/uploads/200803/25_063117_china3.jpg
    This is the well-known national flag of the historical Republic of China from 1928 to 1949 and the current Republic of China on Taiwan. The blue sky white sun is the symbol of KMT. It is definitely the best-looking one in terms of the design and favoured by many pro-democracy activists in China.

    http://www.sodachi.com/blog/uploads/200803/25_063353_china4.jpg
    This flag is a typical communist design....One can argue that red is the colour of happiness in China. But we're taught that this piece of flag was dyed by the blood of the matyrs who died in the revolution. A western, European, and communist Russian description. I like the design when it's put on an adidas or Li-Ning court jacket, not as it is spread in an 2-dimension way.

    http://www.sodachi.com/blog/uploads/200803/25_063918_china5.jpg
    And there were times when more flags were showing up together. Activists from Hong Kong and Taiwan brought these two flags onto the disputed Senkaku Islands (钓鱼岛) in 1996 representing a Chinese nationalist point of view. It was a quite moving moment. After that they were arrested by Japanese troops....
